Accommodation Regulations

  1. The accommodation facility Resort Čerešňový sad, Mengusovce can accommodate a guest if he/she duly registers. For this purpose, the guest is obliged to present a valid identity card (ID card or passport). The receptionist will issue a key to the apartment or room in the guest’s name.
  2. The accommodation facility provides services to accommodated guests at least in the scope specified by Decree No. 277/2008 Coll. for the class of apartment house and boardinghouse.
  3. In exceptional cases, the apartment house may offer the guest other accommodation than agreed, as long as it does not differ substantially from the confirmed order.
  4. If the guest requests an extension of the accommodation, the apartment house may also offer him/her a different apartment or room than the one in which he/she was originally accommodated.
  5. When occupying the apartment, the guest shall, in his/her own interest, check the condition and functionality of the equipment in the apartment and read the inventory list of the apartment and immediately report any errors and shortcomings to the hotel reception.
  6. The guest is liable for damages caused to the property of the apartment house according to the applicable regulations as follows:
  1. Damage –   1st degree –  50,00 €
  2. Damage –  II. degree – 150,00 €
  3. Damage – 3rd degree – 450,00 €

Damage of I, II, and III degree is assessed according to the real prices of the inventory of each apartment. A list of inventory and prices of individual items is available on request at reception.

In the event of total inventory damage that cannot be repaired or exceeds the cost of Level III damage, the client will be charged the total purchase price according to the attached inventory price list.

Repair prices are charged to all guests equally according to the degree of damage mentioned above. Damage to real property, such as visibly damaged plaster, scratched or stained walls, and any other damage of a similar type is subject to a penalty equal to one of the three degrees of damage. The amount of the damage shall be decided by the person responsible, in this case, the on-site operator. The client will then be charged the appropriate amount, an invoice will be issued, and proof of payment of the fine will be provided.

    1. The accommodation facility is entitled to request a refundable deposit of 50,- EUR from the guest upon arrival, which will be used in case of damage to pay for/partially pay for the damages caused or significant soiling of the apartment or room.
    2. Guests may only receive visitors in the apartment or room with the permission of the receptionist between 8:00 and 22:00 hours.
    3. Smoking is expressly forbidden in the apartments and the entire guesthouse. Smoking is only allowed in the area in front of the apartment. Violations are punishable by a fine of €50
  1. The guest uses the apartment or room at the time agreed with the accommodation. If the check-in time has not been agreed in advance, the guest shall check out by 10:00 a.m. on the last day and vacate the apartment at that time. If the guest fails to do so by 12:00, the accommodation may charge the next day’s stay.
  2. The guest can be accommodated after 14:00, in exceptional cases even earlier. Guests who check in before 06:00 will be charged for the entire previous night.
  3. The Guest is not allowed to move inventory, make modifications, or any interference with the electrical network, telephone apparatus, internet and television receivers, hairdryers, or other
  4. The Guest agrees that the housekeeper, maintenance person, manager, operator, or owner of the accommodation facility has the right to enter his/her apartment to perform his/her official duties during the entire duration of his/her lease.
  5. The operator of the accommodation facility is not responsible for money, valuable items, and documents, as well as for items brought into the accommodation facility by the guest.
  6. The guest is not allowed to use his/her own electrical appliances in the accommodation, especially in the apartment. This regulation does not apply to electrical appliances used for the guest’s personal hygiene (shaver, hairdryer, etc.).
  7. When leaving the apartment or room, the guest is obliged to properly close the windows, doors, and water closures, turn off the lights, lock the door, and hand the key to the receptionist.
  8. For safety reasons, it is not advisable to leave children under 12 years of age unsupervised in the apartment, room, or other common areas of the accommodation facility. In the event of an accident or other unforeseen circumstances, the person with whom the child is registered to stay is responsible for the child.
  9. Guest complaints or suggestions for improvement of the accommodation facility shall be accepted by the operator or may be written by the guest in the wish and complaint book located at the reception desk of the accommodation facility.
  10. After use, return all dishes clean to their place.
  11. Guests have the right to park in the parking lot at the facility, which is not guarded by a security guard.
  12. The area is secured by a camera system. The cameras are located outside the accommodation facility interiors.
  13. Accommodation with a dog is not allowed.
  14. Guests are not allowed to take sports equipment and items for which another place is reserved for storage to their rooms.
  15. Guests are strictly forbidden to move around the premises of the apartment house and the guesthouse in ski boots!
  16. From 22:00 to 07:00, the guest must observe the night’s peace
  17. For the accommodation and services provided, the guest is obliged to pay the price per the booking confirmation received by the guest when booking the accommodation. The guest is obliged to pay the amount charged, as a rule, before the end of the stay. For one-night stays, the guest shall pay upon check-in. For long-term stays, the guest pays once per week for the services provided.
  18. The price list for accommodation and ancillary services is available at the reception.
  19. In the event that the guest violates these provisions, the accommodation operator has the right to withdraw from the contract for the provision of accommodation services before the expiry of the agreed term of stay.
